Hello,
I use version 15.0.80.513 of Money 2006 standard edition. Whenever I close the program, I get the following message: We're sorry, but Microsoft Money has experienced an internal error and will have to restart. Please tell Money about this problem... When I press the send button and after a few moments Money restarts. I close the program. Sometimes the cycle will go on for 3 or 4 times. Sometimes the cycle will stop here. This problem is relatively new. Is this a picture of things to come? Will this affect the backup? What can I do to keep the error from happening? Thank you. es |

Maybe. Maybe. Do you have any backups from before this started happening? If so, PROTECT them. Maybe. Have you tried the File|Repair tools? Have you tried to see if you can dup the problem with the sample files? Copy sample.mny from your install folder to your Documents folder, and open that file in Money. See if the problem occurs. Make copies of your data file and your backups to another location. This is "just in case". A USB stick would be good. Have you tried reinstalling Money? When I used to run the helpdesk for a large company, reinstalling software was usually the fastest solution. We could poke around for weeks trying to find the one thing that got messed up (or two or three or ...). You might lose a few custom settings, but not many.
