"Microsoft Money has stopped working"

Whenever I try to open Microsoft Money Plus, I receive the message "Microsoft
Money has stopped running" and the program immediately crashes. Here are the
details:

My operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium. Any suggestions on how
to get Money working again?

Copy Sample.mny from your Money install folder to Documents. Try to
open that file by right-clicking in Windows Explorer, and choosing
Open. Does it open?

If so, File->Restore your latest or second-latest backup file.
