unable to load registration library (dll)

I get this error when trying to run microsoft money 2006.
Unfortunately, I can't find the original CD to reinstall it. I decided
to purchase the 2008 version but it will not install. I get an error
screen to submit an error report to microsoft.

Any suggestions?

I would create a new Administrative user and try to install as that
user. Also consider disabling your software firewall during the
install.

Re: unable to load registration library (dll)

I am having the same problem with the registration library. (spent 1.5 hours
on the phone with someone in India and now they have escalated my problem and
I "should" hear from them in a couple of days)

I first had Money and that was upgraded to Money 2005 and I wanted to
upgrade again to Money Plus Premium. I was in the process of downloading the
upgrade (firewall , popup blocker, and anti virus all turned off) when during
the installtion it said "setup was unable to install some components needed
to run Money. Try again"

The agent had me remove "all" previous editions of Money from my computer
and still that did not work - (we, shut down, run regsvr32 msxml4.dll,
regsvr32 msxml3.dll, regsvr32 msxml.dll, installed windows install cleanup,
deleted the download and tried again)

HELP! please I need my Money back up and running.

Re: unable to load registration library (dll)

If you have windows xp home then you need to call the money technical support
so they can transfer you to the windows department, you need to call them
first so they can create a service request for you so yo can use it with
windows, otherwise you will be charge if you call the windows technical
support, if you got windows xp pro, you need to run the secedit command, kb#
313222 at www.support.microsoft.com and copy and paste the command from the
kb article and paste it in the command prompt, then install the moeny program.
