Clicking on OE links freez/crash my puter....

Hello, I searched OE forum for this or similar problem but didn't:

When clicking links in OE to open, it causes my computer to freeze and crash
and no other alternative than start from scratch again! Also, to open IE
takes me up to 4 or more clicks!

I created a NEW identity but didn't resolve these 2 problems. Any ideas
please? Thanks so much! Adela

Clicking on a link in OE requires IE to open correctly. Fix your problem
opening IE first. That /may/ solve this issue as well.

Copy & paste them in your browser's address bar, or just click on msnews in
your folder tree and find the IE General newsgroup and subscribe.

Just click on them and they should open in OE. When you go to leave the
newsgroup OE will ask if you want to subscribe. Answer Yes, it's free.
