attaching shortcuts

Is there a way when browsing to attach files, to open the shortcut folder to
attach files from within the folder and not attaching the shortcut folder?

For example, i select Insert--> File attachment and go to my desktop. I have
a shortcut folder which holdssome files. if i double click on the shortcut,
the shortcut itself is getting attached. I would like when double clicking,
to have the shortcut folder open to be able to select files and not to browse
to the actual folder location.

Re: attaching shortcuts

You can't do what you want. You have to browse to the actual folder. If
there are a few you want to attach at once, you can go to that folder first
and drag them to a new message window.

If he has 'copy path' in context menu for shortcut, it will put full
path (ie F:\MyDocuments\Coverages-Medicare+PreferredCare.rtf) in
clipbrd which can be pasted as filename in box where u r finding files
to attach.

Any & all comments/suggestions are welcome.
