Embedded pictures not sent?

Using OE6 forwarded mail with embedded pictures but the pictures weren't
received by the other person who is using BT webmail.
The reply I got from her is " I cant see these pics, it asked me too
download them, then would only let me open them on internet explorer then
came up as an error."
How can I make sure the recipient can see them?

Re: Embedded pictures not sent?

Thanks for the reply, I have always had my mail set to send in Plain Text,
is that why the pictures weren't received?
Have changed it to HTML for this one message and trying again, may be a
while before I know if it's received OK.

Re: Embedded pictures not sent?

It was "embedded pictures" in the subject line that led me to HTML. While
you can attach pictures in plain text you cannot embed them

To attach a picture in plain text it must be saved as a file and not open in
any other program.
