Could be a feature of the way that the Cox SMTP message submission server works. It is not an MS Outlook Express problem. -- Norman ~Shine, bright morning light, ~now in the air the spring is coming. ~Sweet, blowing wind, ~singing down the hills and valleys. |

Re: Test email to myself
Are you putting anything in the subject line when you send a test email? My
ISP switched to a new spam filter, and now any email without a subject won't be received. Re: Test email to myself
Does your ISP offer web mail access to your mail account? If so, look
for the message there. Be sure to check in any junk mail or spam folder there. If the message shows up in the Junk folder, then settings on the web mail are marking it as spam and you need to fix that. If it makes it to the Inbox on the web mail and then disappears in OE, check the Deleted Items folder in OE. It's easy to accidentally put a block sender on yourself in OE. Look at Tools, Messages Rules, Blocked Senders. As check your mail message rules. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm <dlvseuss@cox.net> wrote in message news:6a803c74-6ad3-4787-970e-e4c680001359@b1g2000hsg.googlegroups.com... > I used to be able to send test emails in Outlook express 6 to myself. > I no longer can. Then i found my address in blocked senders list. I don't know how it got there. Thanks for your help. |

Re: Test email to myself
You are welcome and thanks for posting back.
It's actually pretty easy to accidentally put a block sender on yourself or another sender. While viewing a message you just need to do Message, Block Sender. A lot of people have done that. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm <dlvseuss@cox.net> wrote in message news:467e1bb8-6354-4775-af2b-429661560ffd@a1g2000hsb.googlegroups.com... > On Jul 7, 10:28 am, "Michael Santovec" <michael_santo...@prodigy.net> > wrote: >> Does your ISP offer web mail access to your mail account?
