How do I create an Add-in?

I have been researching on how to create add-ins for Outlook 2007 using VSTO
using say C# and VB.Net.

What about if I wanted to create an Add-in for Windows Mail/Outlook Express?
How would it be done?

TIA

Which is it? Windows Mail, (which you are posting with), or Outlook Express?
I can't answer for either one, (not so sure you can do it), but if your
question is about WinMail and not OE, then try that newsgroup.

Windows Vista Mail Newsgroup.

The APIs for OE and Windows Mail are not available, Mark, so you're on your
own.

Hmm. I wonder how http://www.add-in-express.com/progra...tlook-express/
did it though.

Re: How do I create an Add-in?

Well, let me clarify my previous post: The APIs for OE, such as they were,
are no longer available.

That doesn't mean that someone can't spend eons attempting to decompile the
code.
