OE6 Removed access to unsafe attachment

Greetings all,

I am new here and need help.

As a test, I sent myself an email with a Cryptomite self-extracting
encrypted file attached. This, understandably, is an executable [*.exe] file
and Outlook Express, reasonably, dislikes such attachments. Is there any way
to TELL Outlook Express - at the receiving end - that, exceptionally, this
particular
attachment IS safe to open. (At present the attachment Open and Save options
are both greyed out)

Thanks in advance

Tools | Options | Security. Uncheck: "Do not allow
attachments.................".

Make sure you keep your anti-virus up-to-date and never open attachments
from people you don't know.

Re: OE6 Removed access to unsafe attachment

Thank you Bruce, I should have known that. (With the relevant box unchecked
the executable executed just fine).
