Who sent you this HTML email message with the (embedded) pix?

If you Forward this message to yourself, do the pix show up in the received
message? If so, can you save the pix from that email?

Well, that was easy. Yes, sending the e-mail to myself enabled me to save
the photos. Thank you! I bet you can explain why this happened? The photos
were from a relative. Thanks again!

Long story short: The pix embedded in the original message were from an
online source, not your relative's machine. Usually seen in Forwarded (and
multiply-Forwarded) messages, especially if one or more people in the "chain
of Forwards" are AOL users.
