Mail with attachment not correct received

Hallo,
I've a problem with sending an email with Outlook express with an
attachment (doc or xls) to a group of addresses
The party to where teh mail had been addressed received an email however
without attachment.
The mail looks also strange.
I tested it with only one email address then it is ok
I tested it with 8 email addresses also OK
But i like to send the email with something like 50 addressen in one group,
that went wrong.
Does someone know, if there a maximum of address in an distribution list, i
can send an email to.
I'm using now microsoft outlook 2003 where the emails arrive in the correct
way
Thanks Daan

Re: Mail with attachment not correct received

1: No e-mail client cares how many addresses you send to. That is controlled
by your ISP/Mail Server. Contact them.

2: This group is for Outlook Express, not Outlook. A completely different
program.

If you send the attachment to yourself, do you receive it?

OE has no such limits but your ISP may.

Re: Mail with attachment not correct received

Hi Robear
If i send the attachment to myself or to a few persons ( i tried 8) it works
ok.
I receive a correct mail with the attachment. !
However if i send the mail to a lot of persons including me I receive the
mail
in the bad format without attachment like all the others.
Thanks for thinking , Daan

Then the problem may be what Rod suggested.

Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer
of protection that eats up CPUs, slows down sending and receiving, and
causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes
and has even been responsible for lose of messages. Your up-to-date A/V
program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more, see:
http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

Note that for some AV programs, it may be necessary to uninstall the program
and reinstall in Custom Mode and opt out of e-mail scanning when the option
arises.

Then OE is not the problem, Daan.

Shut off your Anti Virus scanning of emails. Both for incoming and outgoing.
