I'm using outlook express 6.00.2900.2180 with IE 7.0.5730.11 on an hp 9010us
laptop. The touchpad scroll feature does not work when I'm reading my email
or newsgroup letters that are longer than one screen in outlook express.
However, it works just fine when I'm reading web pages or documents.



Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a hardware, or device driver issue.

Try dragging the cursor into the message body. Then click once. That
should shift the focus so that the scroll will apply to the message
text.
