Save copy on server box
My boss has a blackberry and to facilitate him being able to download his
mail to that as well as the office pc I have his Outlook Express set to save a copy of message on the server for 1 day so he will get the messages on both devices. Problem: The box you check to apply that setting has become "un-checked" somehow at least 3 times in the last 2 weeks. The first time I thought is was from a crash but after the second time I doubted that, and after the third time I'm now concerned it is something more serious. Anybody else heard of this? Thanks AP in the Beech Grove |

Re: Save copy on server box
One or more options/settings in an ever-growing number of third-party
applications may be disallowing the change(s) from "sticking". These include but are not limited to Ad-aware's Ad-Watch, Spybot Tea Timer, SpywareBlaster, SpySweeper, Spyware Doctor, Norton AntiVirus, McAfee VirusScan and/or Antispyware, and Zone Alarm (Free and Pro). -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE, OE, Security, Shell/User) AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ Andy Percifield wrote: > My boss has a blackberry and to facilitate him being able to download his > mail to that as well as the office pc > I have his Outlook Express set to save a copy of message on the server for > 1 > day so he will get the > messages on both devices. > Problem: The box you check to apply that setting has become "un-checked" > somehow at least 3 times in > the last 2 weeks.
