Can I get a user who is sharing another calendat to stop receiving new appointment messages?

Is there a way to top a user who is sharing her bosses calendar from receiving new notifications everytime he accepts or receives a new appointment in Outlook 2003?

She has been added in the share permissions of her bosses calendar by right clicking calendar and selecting sharing, not via the delegate option
