WM6 repeating alarms

Let's say I set an alarm for 8:00 in the morning. I pick the "Repeat
sound" option, pick a sound file I like, and tap "ok."

8:AM rolls around, and the device plays the alarm sound once. Only
once. Waits about 5 minutes, or something, then plays it again.

How do you get it to actually repeat the sound? I mean, play it
constantly over and over again until either the battery dies or I tell
it to shut up?

That's a repeating alarm.

Is there a registry hack for this?

Apparently Microsoft has a different definition of "repeating" than you or
I do, because it hasn't worked right for as long as I remember, going back
to PPC 2002.

Not that I'm aware of, but some third party apps, like SPB Pocket Plus, fix
it.

you'll also need another third party app like Pocket Mechanic or MemMaid to
clean out the duplicate notifications that can build up

Re: WM6 repeating alarms

You're better off with a third party software like SPB TIME that has a
repeat option and it repeats more often.
also it has some more alarm sounds to use.
