Hi,
I'm trying to install applications to the mini SD card instead of the
phones main memory however, it seems to always install to the phones
memory regardless of me ticking '\storage card'.

I've even edited the registry:

HKLM/SOFTWARE/Apps/Microsoft Application Installer: fAskDest 1

This should default to install to the storage card but it still
doesn't.

Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Any suggestions on how to correct
this issue?

I've seen this only with a few applications. Which applications have
you tried? Probably not a function of the Pocket PC version and/or
specific device, but if you gave us those details, someone might know.

I'm pretty sure the behavior is controlled completely by the CAB file,
and can't be changed by any changes to your device.

All apps, or some apps. I know that no matter what you check, the
eReader Pro app will always install to your device and not the
storage card.

It's the CAB descriptors that tells the system where to install the app to,
not fAskDest.

You can, however, try relocating the given app yourself to a card after
installing it - in most cases, it works. See my relocation-related articles
for tips & tricks.
