TomTom on the HTC Touch Diamond

Anyone know what version of TomTom comes with the HTC Touch Diamond - I have
looked at the HTC Website but it does not say

I can answer my own question as mine has just arrived - the answer is - it
does not come with ANY version of Tom Tom either in ROM or on the
accompanying CD !

Yep. Why did you think it did?

Some of the reviews I read said it did - but not the UK version it seems!

Re: TomTom on the HTC Touch Diamond

That 4 gigs of onboard storage with no microSD slot really cripples this
otherwise slick device. The TouchPro has the slot, but is so darn thick
with that keyboard. They almost got it right, a general theme with Windows
Mobile Devices. One of these days they'll strike the correct balance of
form and function -- but it's not the Diamond. Once you get CoPilot or
TomTom installed, there's not much room left...

The cruise with VGA would be one slick device. It's slick without the VGA,
but the only missing element is the VGA.

Yes, they have royally messed up the Diamond with the 4G storage only - when
the alternatives all come out with 8/16G and, some of them (Nokia N96, the
latest S60 Samsung phone etc) with even an additional card slot.

A VERY big mistake of HTC.

Re: TomTom on the HTC Touch Diamond

The Cruise is slick if you like yesterday's-tech

Honestly though, the Cruise seemed like it would be nice, then the reviews
came out... then it turned out to be one of the HTC devices with the
advanced graphics chip that wasn't implemented, no drivers. Looked good on
paper though...

Re: TomTom on the HTC Touch Diamond

A waste of a potentially great little device. If it weren't for that
missing card slot, my Visa card would be approaching it's limit
