Having both Internet and VPN connection active

In my Pocket PC I have a VPN setup and I connect to internet using a 3G SIM
Card (HSDPA).

The problem is when VPN is connected, if I access a internet page VPN
automatically disconnects.

Is there a way to keep the VPN connection active all the time? Or Is there
way to automatically reconnect the VPN if it gets disconnected?

Not easily. the problem is MS assumes if you have VPN, you have a
proxy server and that is how you connect to the internet over
VPN. If you don't have a proxy server, you are mostly out of
luck. An exception would be in the Connectoins icon, Advanced
Tab, Exceptions, you could tell it that a particular URL is
really an intranet address and the VPN won't disconnect, but that
is a URL by URL exception and only applies to IE, so checking
your Gmail via Inbox would still cause a disconnect.

It really only works if you have a proxy server.
