Having both Internet and VPN connection active
In my Pocket PC I have a VPN setup and I connect to internet using a 3G SIM
Card (HSDPA). The problem is when VPN is connected, if I access a internet page VPN automatically disconnects. Is there a way to keep the VPN connection active all the time? Or Is there way to automatically reconnect the VPN if it gets disconnected? |

If you don't have a proxy server, you are mostly out of luck. An exception would be in the Connectoins icon, Advanced Tab, Exceptions, you could tell it that a particular URL is really an intranet address and the VPN won't disconnect, but that is a URL by URL exception and only applies to IE, so checking your Gmail via Inbox would still cause a disconnect. It really only works if you have a proxy server. -- __________________________________________________ ________________________________ Ed Hansberry (Please do *NOT* email me.
