Just an FYI-The WM 6.1 Tilt update is "supposedly" to be released
tomorrow July 20th, according to both HTC and ATT tech support.

Yup,
me too! One nice thing about WM6.1 though, WMDC 6.1 synchs alot quicker
with it.

i have been using 6.1 on a mogul for a while and it is a bit slower
with 6.1, also it takes forever to boot? hope the official rom is
better.

FWIW, 6.1 on my TytnII is much faster booting than was 6.1. This
was HTC's official ROM for that device, which is the sister
device to the Tilt.

Actually I do know at ATT,lots of our upgrades through I.T. did happen on
weekends. (for regular pc's though)

That's a different matter- the pros install upgrades on the weekends when
fewer users of the equipment will be impacted. I doubt anyone at AT&T was
going to "throw the switch" adding the upgrade link/pages to the support
section for the Tilt for home users to brick, er, um, upgrade their devices,
particularly when the "B" team is manning the weekend customer support
lines! ;-)
