Phone often won't switch on

I have an O2 Stellar (HTC TyTn II) with WM 6.1.

Sometimes if I try to switch on the phone from the Comm Manager, the windows
logo comes up for a few seconds but the X (= phone off) still remains.

I've had this problem with other Windows Mobile Pocket PC's on WM 5 too.

Has anyone come across this behaviour and does anyone know of a fix?

Peter

It just happens sometimes. Soft-reset is the only fix I know of.

Sometimes my HTC S370 (WM 6 Standard) takes extra long (> 2 minutes)
to get past the logo screen when I power it on. I haven't seen any
pattern, but haven't tried hard ("Windows is like that" - see
http://www.crisbrady.net/WinHaiku.html). Just this morning I was
getting worried; fortunately I let myself be busy for a while and the
phone "fixed itself".

Which logo- the initial carrier logo or the EinMo logo. When my HTC Wizard
used to hang on the carrier logo occasionally I noticed pressing the power
button would move it along (otherwise I was in for a two or three minute
wait!)

The WinMo logo (green background)

That's a different "delay" than my Wizard experienced then...
