several answers, most of them "no" but, most importantly, you don't want
to for a number of diverse reasons.

_if_ it's possible at all, it would come from the device oem only,
again, from experience, don't

No, not free anyway. Your device maker *might* have provided a
WM5 upgrade for a small fee, usually $30. The Dell Axim X50 for
example, but that was 2.5 years ago. I am not sure if they would
still have it or not. You'll have to check with your device
maker.
