Upgrade from Office 2000 to 2007 - Outlook & Activesync
Hi Folks -
I recently upgraded my Office 2000 Premium to Office 2007 Enterprise. All seemed to go well in the upgrade. The new Outlook calls up my contact and calendar from the previous version just fine. The problem is that the PDA, using Activesync 4.5.0 will not talk to the new Outlook that came with Office 2007. Any ideas as to how to get these two connected and talking again? PS - I already ran this question through the outlook group, and they said it was an activesync issue, and to come here. Thanks Jerry |

Hi,
After you install Office 2007 you need to reinstall ActiveSync in order for it to reconfigure it for the new version of Outlook. -- Chris De Herrera http://www.pocketpcfaq.com http://www.pocketpctalk.com http://www.tabletpctalk.com http://www.mobilitytalk.com "Gerald Thauberger" <gthauberger@email.phoenix.edu> wrote in message news:%23p12tPM2IHA.1772@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... Re: Upgrade from Office 2000 to 2007 - Outlook & Activesync
I have the same problem with upgrade from Office 2003 to 2007 with Vista and
Windows Mobile Device Center. I have tried every option I have come across and still no luck. Hi,
Did you try uninstalling WMDC, rebooting and reinstalling it? -- Chris De Herrera http://www.pocketpcfaq.com http://www.pocketpctalk.com http://www.tabletpctalk.com http://www.mobilitytalk.com "ebhimmel" <bhimmelman@triad.rr.com> wrote in message news:uJG9Sds5IHA.4084@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... >I have the same problem with upgrade from Office 2003 to 2007 with Vista >and Windows Mobile Device Center.
