Exchange 2003 SP2 active sync error 0x85010014
Hi guys,
once again I get the same error message, though this time it seems to have another cause. I'm running SBS 2003 SP1 with Exchange 2003 SP2 and want to sync mobile to a windows mobile 6 device (HTC) with an self signed cert (the cert doesn't seem to be the problem). The mobile device connects to the server and it looks like it began to sync ("synchronising folders" appears on the screen) but after appr. 45 sec. it fails saying "Active sync encountered problems on the server" with support code 0x85010014. I tried severall things from related posts but nothing worked out, if I had to guess I would say we have a problem becouse our internal logon domain name isn't the same as our external e-mail domain (e.g.: user1\intern.local is the AD user and user1@external.at is the e-mail domain). Could this be a problem? Anyhow, I appreciate any ideas Cheers, Mike |
