I installed Outlook 2007 with Vista home premium and can not sync my Samsung
SCH-i760 ever since. I have WMDC 6.1 and have renamed my device, deleted
profiles in sync center, soft reset, and hard reset.
Everything suggestion I can find on any support group or site.
I went back and am able to sync with ActiveSync 4.5 on my wife's XP laptop.
Please advise anyone!

Hi,

Try repairing the WMDC install. You can access it under Control Panel -
Programs and Features - select WMDC and right-click to repair and then
connect your device after performing a soft reset.

Thank you for getting back.
I followed your advice and got the same results. The connection is made and
partnership is setup, sync starts and then I get the same old error mesage;
"Synchronization could not be completed. If this condition persists, try
deleting and then re-creating the device's sync relationships."

Can you suggest anything else?

Try uninstalling WMDC, rebooting and reinstalling it. Then try and sync,

Hi,

Check if you are you able to sync if none of the information types are
selected? If yes, then narrow down the information type which is causing the
sync error by selecting it one at a time and performing a sync after every
selection.

Switch back to WMDC 6.0 from 6.1 and that should work. Cancel all auto update request to 6.1 after you successfully install 6.0
