Problem getting IP after disconnected or activesync terminated
Hi !
There are 2 scenarios: 1. very occasionally, I am not able to get IP address after I unplug my device and later plug it back. 2. I sometimes use some utilities like pskill to teminate the activesync process (rapimgr.exe, wcescomm.exe & WCESMGR.exe). Later I restart Activesync. The device sometimes cannot get connected. I think it's the IP address. So I have a question. When the device cannot get IP address, what do I do ? Any advice please ? Thanks very much for your help ! |

Re: Problem getting IP after disconnected or activesync terminated
Hi,
Is this issue with not getting an IP address occuring when you quickly unplug and replug a device? If so then you may have to unplug and wait approximately 1 minute. I suspect that the issue is in the setup and teardown of the drivers. -- Chris De Herrera http://www.pocketpcfaq.com http://www.pocketpctalk.com http://www.tabletpctalk.com http://www.mobilitytalk.com "flahmeshess" <dingdongdingding@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:c94941be-e4e0-41ed-8025-af946809f5cf@f36g2000hsa.googlegroups.com... > Hi ! > > There are 2 scenarios: > > 1. very occasionally, I am not able to get IP address after I > unplug my device and later plug it back. > > 2. Re: Problem getting IP after disconnected or activesync terminated
Hi Chris. Thanks for the reply. But I waited for a long time and I
needed to reboot to solve the problem.
