I can not open a power point file from a cd. It is a ppsx. and I think it is
from 2007. How can I open it on 2003?

RE: power point ppsx

Sorry pptsx won't open in PPT2003 as ppsx is a format for PPT2007. So if you
want to show in PPT 2003, you should either save the presentation going to
save as-> powerpoint version 97 - 2003.
Another option is to install a free ppt2007 viewer for the other system.

Thanks,
Vindys

You can download the viewer here:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

But it you want to edit the presentation, you'll need whoever saved the
..ppsx file to save it as a PowerPoint 2003 show for you.

John

You know your syuff... I have another problem with PP when exiting. I get
an error message and it sends info to MS at closing. It does this every time
whether I have a saved PP open or not. I have no add-ins and I already
installed SP1 for PP. Know any fix?
