Question about PowerPoint 2008 for Mac

When saving as a web page .htm is there a publish feature in PowerPoint? I
don't see one similar to PowerPoint 2007.

We're using a site called D2L that students access and publish there
PowerPoint slides but the slides look misconfigured and characters look
strange which could be because of D2L - the site recently went through an
upgrade from 8.2 to 8.3

If you download the PowerPoint files to a Mac it works great in PowerPoint
2008 but I couldn't find a publish option. Any help would be great.

PPT for Mac has always saved as HTML in very different ways from Windows
versions, at least since PPT 2000 came out. One difference is the Publish
options. As far as I know, no Mac PPT version has ever had them.

But can you supply a link to a sample PPT and to the web pages generated from
it so we can have a look?

I'd also post your question in Public.Mac.Office.PowerPoint (the Mac side of
this forum).

Re: Question about PowerPoint 2008 for Mac

I'm not sure if I can get you a link to this MNSCU D2L site but I can send
you a direct link. I'll keep checking with the D2L administrator on our
campus.

Re: Question about PowerPoint 2008 for Mac

Thanks, but ah well ... no joy. That takes me to a log-in page. I suspect I'd
need to enroll at the school to get any further. ;-)
