page set up

I am trying to combine output from powerpoint with ms access & and another
3rd party software provider. I need powerpoint to produce a pdf which is 8.5
x 11 to be consistent. In page set up, i configure powerpoint to have 8.5x11,
but when i print to pdf via distiller the size shrinks to ppt default. i am
using powerpoint 2003. any help would be appreciated.

If you choose "Scale to fit paper" in the print dialog box, PPT will make the
slide as large as possible on the paper size chosen in the printer driver.

As long as the page size in PPT is proportional to the page size in the printer
driver, the PDF (or any other printed output) should fill the page.
