Disallow Local Resources ?

Hello there,

is there any way to deny a user to create local resources and assign them?
When a user enters something in the resourcename field in Project and this
resource does not exist as enterprise resource it is created as a local
resource. I'd like to deny this creation in order to assign only enterprise
resources!

Any help is appreciated

Hi Makkan,

This sounds as though you're using a server - try posting on the server
newsgroup. Please see FAQ Item: 24. Project Newsgroups. FAQs, companion
products and other useful Project information can be seen at this web
address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Re: Disallow Local Resources ?

Hello Makkan,

Please re-post your question to the project server newsgroup if you have
not already. This newsgroup is focused on using MS Project without
project server.
It's likely you'll get a quicker response in the server newsgroup.

***Please also note in your re-post what version, including service
pack, of Project you are using.

Julie
