If I set up a standard resource pool sing Project Standard..what happens when
my PMs take their plans off the network server to work from home ie they are no longer connected to the Resource Pool..what potential issues do I need to be aware of? |

Re: Resource Pool - going mobile
HI,
First, they should NOT, repeat NOT, NEVER, Save As.. their project with the pool open. They can copy the file without Project being open, and put the updated version back in the same spot when they come back. And while working at home, when opening the file, tehy should of course answer "do not open other files". Hope this helps, -- Jan De Messemaeker Microsoft Project Most Valuable Professional +32 495 300 620 For availability check: http://users.online.be/prom-ade/Calendar.pdf "Steve Scott" <SteveScott@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:3D8E7F51-0924-4603-A251-708331006DDE@microsoft.com... > If I set up a standard resource pool sing Project Standard..what happens > when > my PMs take their plans off the network server to work from home ie they > are > no longer connected to the Resource Pool..what potential issues do I need > to > be aware of? |
