YOWZA, OK, and your question is? Project is scheduling application, not a word processor. What in the world are you trying to find that may be in any field? John Project MVP |

John,
I'd certainly like to find salvation or even satisfaction somewhere in Project, however the shortcomings of the tool make this impossible. Take yowza3's comments as a cry for help! -Jack "John" wrote: > > Project is scheduling application, not a word processor. I repeat, what could YOWZA be trying to find in any field? In all the years I've used Project I've never had a need to do a find and replace for all fields. At least from my perspective, the "cry for help" doesn't seem warranted given that there are a ton of other features that would be more useful for more users. Maybe I'm missing something. Just the fact that you did comment made me wonder if I had said something callous or out of context in my original response. Perhaps my use of, "What in the world..." was misconstrued. Sometimes I'm baffled by what users ask for and I guess this was one of those cases. What I need to remember is what it was like when I first "encountered" Project - total frustration.
