Best way to create simple Rig Schedule
My boss is wanting to create a simple schedule for the Drilling Rigs in his
area. He can manually create it in Excel or Power Point for presentations- but wants to be able to have it automated somehow - it there a simple template in Project that might help with this task. He likes what he creates in Excel or Power Point much better than the Gantt Charts in Project. But is there a template in Project that might help with this.... |

Re: Best way to create simple Rig Schedule
HI,
Save a project as a .xls file and when the export wizard starts up select the option Project Excel Template. This stores the project with Tasks in one sheet, Resources in a second and Assignments in a third. Yu can create your own data in this file then import to a new project. -- Rod Gill Microsoft MVP for Project Author of the only book on Project VBA, see: http://www.projectvbabook.com "PL" <PL@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:C294A70F-4C18-41B7-B4E3-485E66406843@microsoft.com... > My boss is wanting to create a simple schedule for the Drilling Rigs in > his > area.
