Images Pixilated in Publisher as PDF
I have Publisher 2002 and used PrimoPDF to save as a PDF. It looks great
except for the fact the images are unclear and pixilated! Ugh. Any suggestions? Do I need to upgrade to 2007? Or should I just upgrade with whatever Adobe has? Help. Any other options? |

Re: Images Pixilated in Publisher as PDF
Primo has a forum, you probably will get a better solution reading the answers
given there. What is the resolution of your pictures? Are you getting them from the Internet? http://forums.primopdf.com/search.php?do=process -- Mary Sauer MSFT MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com "huhwhat" <huhwhat@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:B732BD89-A271-42DD-9944-8DA8DDC55359@microsoft.com... >I have Publisher 2002 and used PrimoPDF to save as a PDF. No. I am using original images. They look great in publisher. They just
aren't coming through in the PDF. "Mary Sauer" wrote: > Primo has a forum, you probably will get a better solution reading the answers > given there. What is the resolution of your pictures? Re: Images Pixilated in Publisher as PDF
Yes, absolutely. I am not new to this, just new (or returning) to PC. I am
used to Print Shop on my MacBook Pro which makes PDF's from any file type. Re: Images Pixilated in Publisher as PDF
Check settings in Primo (sorry haven't used primo in a year), if no go...try
CutePdf and there's a couple of other free ones out there. I finally broke down and spent the bucks on Acrobat 8 Pro and don't regret it at all :-) -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rob Giordano Microsoft MVP Expression "huhwhat" <huhwhat@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:8F89625D-7EA5-4D92-B846-0D6F9FEE2D7B@microsoft.com... > Yes, absolutely. Any other options? ======================================= Just wondering....what are the pixel dimensions of the images you are inserting into the publisher document? If you navigate to the folder the images are saved in and place your mouse pointer on a thumbnail...a tooltip will report dimensions, file type and memory size. -- John Inzer |

Re: Images Pixilated in Publisher as PDF
Primo has a few different settings. I rely on Publisher 2007 and it's
feature/plug-in to save out PDF/XPS files.
