Callout Shape doesn't behaves erratically

Using: Visio 2003 on XP SP2

Hello All,

When I attach a Custom Callout to a shape that has custom proproties,
the Configure Callout dialogue often comes up with no custom
properties listed. I have confirmed that the attached shape does
indeed have custom properties. The most frustatring thing is that
sometime it works and sometimes it doesn't.

It seems I need a "refresh" option or something.

Can anyone help or has someone else had this experience.

Thanks in advance for the support.

Correction: The subject should read "...does behave erratically".

Thanks

It seems to go wrong when the Custom Callout's control is attached to
the shape's central connection point.
If the control is dropped outside of the shape and then re-dropped
within the shape but not near a connection point then it seems ok.
