Appearance of visio html files in IE6

I am in the process of creating a series of drill-down flowcharts for my
company that maps the process flow. I have had no issues creating the links,
etc. The issue I am having is the appearance of the html file in IE6.

There is allot of white space around the drawing and the
positioning/rotation lines for the title shape show on the html file. While
I am not too concerned about it, my boss has requested that I find a way to
improve the appearance.

Is there a way to give that space some color?

Thank you.

RE: Appearance of visio html files in IE6

When you save from a Visio drawing to HTML, the excess page areas will
appear as white (by default) in the image output, as Visio uses the page
size as the image size. So if you have an 8.5" by 11" page with a 1"
margin all around, the same effect will occur in the output. So you can
edit the Visio drawing to minimize the white space before saving: reduce
margins, place shapes closer together, and change the page size to more
closely contain your shapes/headers/etc.

As to the position / rotation lines for the Title shape, there are some of
our Borders/Titles shapes which have extension lines that look like layout
lines, as a design feature. You can select another title shape which is
more 'finished' looking to accomplish your goal. Also, if you are using
Visio 2007, you can apply Theme Colors to the page to add visual effects
and color to the titles and notes on a page to add even more polish to them.
