How to modify an registry entry using .reg files
Dear all: I want to change the installation source for Office 2003
using an script. I need to modify, for example, the following registry entry, but it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong? I have been trying the following: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Prod ucts \9040110900063D11C8EF10054038389C\SourceList] "LastUsedSource"="REG_EXPAND_SZ:n;1;\\servername\2 k3" or "LastUsedSource"="hexadecimal(2):n;1;\\servername\ 2k3" Any clue will be appreciated. Best regards LIR |
