Have you tried using Process Explorer to see if anything is keeping those files locked? http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s.../bb896653.aspx I have crossposted this to the server group, where there are more people that use Robocopy. ss. |

Re: Robocopy issues.
Thanks for the feedback and suggestions!! It is actually a problem with
Robocopy. I got the following from MS tech support AFTER I found the probable solution to specific problem we are having: QUOTE Robocopy is incompatible with Vista SP1 and you have found a workaround solution by installing the patch before Robocopy released the new version which is compatible with Vista. UNQUOTE Here is what I discovered (and gave to the MS support tech): We use Robocopy to do a backup (most days) and there is a reference on the Microsoft website to some problems with the Robocopy installed with SP1 (see link below) and a possible cure. I applied the patch that is suggested in the link since it has a new version of Robocopy. We have been testing it and so far everything seems to be fixed - at least as far as this issue is concerned. http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/...6089&SiteID=17 Here is the site of the patch I installed. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en "Synapse Syndrome" <synapse@NOSPAMsyndrome.me.uk> wrote in message news:O$TFJO8lIHA.5280@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > "Keith B.
