quota exceeded alert
Hi guys,
I have a "windows server 2003 SE" without possibility of upgrading to "Release 2". My question is: Is there some method so that when an user exceeds his disk quota an alert it can be sent (via mail or net send) to the administrator's computer? Many thanks in advance. |

Re: quota exceeded alert
Hi Tom,
Natively, that is not possible, but you can have it logged to the event viewer, and write a batch file/script file to send the event viewer to the administrator... Or upgrade to Windows Server 2008, where you can run tasks based on events. -- Jabez Gan Microsoft MVP: Windows Server http://www.msblog.org "tom.doniphon" <tomdoniphon@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:253E4577-EDA9-42BD-B94B-D8CF8F9363B9@microsoft.com... > Hi guys, > I have a "windows server 2003 SE" without possibility of upgrading to > "Release 2".
