IIS7 and host header problems...
I just set up W2K8 Std Server and started setting up IIS7... I created a
site with a host header called bugs (this is in an AD Domain environement, Domain is on another server that is W2K3 SP2) but when I go to http://bugs it shows me the default site on iis! which has host headers set to *... ok so I changed that * to the name of the server (development) and now when I go to bugs it says 404... wierd I thought... so I disabled the default site and changed the host header of bugs to a catch all * and it works... bug no other sites with host headers work... what in the world is going on? help!!!!!! thanks! |
