Log on Locally

Hello, I am attempting to set up BlackBerry Professional on my exchange
server. When I go in to domain security settings and attempt to give the
BlackBerry account log on locally privileges, I get a message at the bottom
of the screen saying "Administrators must be granted the logon local right."
How do I grant this right so that I can allow this account to log on locally?

Did you consult the Blackberry documtation? It's a bit cluttered, but it
does contain everything you should need. IIRC you do this in your domain
controller policy, if this is a DC - or a GPO linked to the OU where this
server lives if it's a member server.

Note that installing BES on your Exchange server isn't recommended. It can
be done, but it can also cause problems. I'd put it on a member server
(either physical or virtual).

RE: Log on Locally

Hi Jeff, To give an account the right to logon locally in an specified
server, you need go to Control Panel-->Administrative Tools-->Local Security
Policy-->User Rights-->Allow Logon Locally and add the account.
