Recommendations for taking an image of a server

Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone could recommend any software to take images
of a couple of servers before i take them to the out of the office. I
have 4 servers that i could do with imaging onto a USB hard drive and
keep for safe keeping.

I do not need to do anything fancy like restore the image over a
network. Just need to be able to restore the image from a portable
hard disk.

Thanks in advance,

Cheers

John

Re: Recommendations for taking an image of a server

Hello Fox1977,

If they are domain controllers it is NOT recommended to image them for later
use. Otherwise there is a lot of software available for imaging, Ghost and
Acronis just 2 of them.

Best regards
