Thanks however that does not talk about Xeons.
The Sys.Info does show: Processor x86 Family 15 Model 2 Stepping 9 GenuineIntel ~3056 Mhz Processor x86 Family 15 Model 2 Stepping 9 GenuineIntel ~3056 Mhz I guess reinstall. Well, neither did the original post; so, with 1 question down and 19 to go - Does the task manager show 4 CPUs? In Device Manager under 'Computer' do you have an ACPI multiprocessor PC listed, or does it say ACPI Uniprocessor PC? Regards, Len Agoado agoado@msn.com |

Re: server 2003 std dual cpu missing one
I apologize, I missed that.
MPS Multiprocessor PC. Re: server 2003 std dual cpu missing one
Dell poweredge 1600sc.
There no specific BIOS switches Hyperthreading and ACPI. I am going to wipe the machine and reload the OS. The other 1600's have been loaded with no problems so, "Leonard Agoado" wrote: > > "BrianMultiLanguage" > <BrianMultiLanguage@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:826740CB-5A02-4170-A5C2-74008CEE7599@microsoft.com... > > >I apologize, I missed that. > > > MPS Multiprocessor PC. > > > > What are your current BIOS settings for Hyperthreading and ACPI > support? > > > Regards, > > Len Agoado > agoado@msn.com > > > > |

What leads you to think otherwise? In Task Manager Performance, is the graph set to show one graph per CPU? Are you running current BIOS firmware? Regards, Len Agoado agoado@msn.com |
