Upgrading the schema to 31

Domain controller is Windows 2003 server. Added a Windows 2003 Storage Server
R2 to network. System came preinstalled w/ R2 so I don't have the disk 2 for
upgrading to R2. How does one upgrade the schema of a 2003 server w/out disk
2?

Hello KBJM,

Download the trial version, burn the .iso image to disk and you have all
you need:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserv...linstruct.mspx

Hello KBJM,

In your burning program choose burn image or equivalent and it will burn
th eimage to a real disk with folde rstructure. Here is a freeqare tool if
you don't have one: http://infrarecorder.sourceforge.net/

Re: Upgrading the schema to 31

Hello KBJM,

No need for a reboot. To check the version, you can type in a command prompt
"schupgr" without the quotes.
