Volume Shadow Copy Service Error

Hi Guys

I'm receiving the following VSS error when attempting to backup the system
state on a Window 2003 Server with SP2 installed:

"Volume Shadow Copy Service error: An unexpected error was encountered
examining the XML document. The document is missing the root element."

The Event has an ID of 8200

Can anyone please shed some light on this for me?

Regards

Maverick
