Monitoring Software
Was looking for some suggestions on monitoring software. Have a few
requirements i havent had any luck finding. Obviously i'd like all the basic stuff, disk space, service, and basic health but there are a few other things i'd like to try and do. 1) Agentless monitoring - i know the majority of info can be pulled remotely with WMI and other techonologies so i dont see the need to toss more crap on my servers. This one isnt a must, but if i can find it, great. 2) custom SQL Queries - would like to be able to use SQL Count queries to help monitor some of our apps 3) custom WMI queries to make sure the results are within set bounds 4) Process monitoring - this is kind of common from what i've seen, but i thought i would add it. just want to make sure a process is running. 5) perfmon - again, kind of common but not all have it. Also anything that can manage windows updates and inventory would aslo be a huge plus. Thanks Justin |
