Re: How to update Win2K3 R1 to R2
After you run adprep from the second disk of the R2 set, on the schema
master for your domain, you should be able to run setup 2 from the second disk of the R2 set and install the updated features. > If yes are there some traps ? The first disk of the R2 set is Windows 2003 either SP1 or SP2. You will get errors trying to run the R2 install, from an R2 set with SP 2, on a Win 2k3 SP1 computer. hth DDS "jcquirin@neoelectra.fr" <jcquirinneoelectrafr@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:525954A4-B0AC-428E-9FA1-2FAC487767F6@microsoft.com... > Hi, > > I would like to know if it's possible to update a file server with win2K3 > R1 > to Win2K3 R2 in order to have a full DFS compatibilty > > If yes are there some traps ? > > -- > Thanks, > JC.Quirin |
