Is the uninstallation safe for the system on a Windows server 2003?
Actually I have AD replication problems and would like to check if it's
related to SP2.

Normally it is not a problem. But it think the SP will not be the source.
What error do you get or what is the reason that you think that you have
replication problems? Please describe in detail what you have done and how
your network is built, DC's, DNS setup etc.
