Licensing service in win2000 and win2003.

Hi,
I was just wondering if there was a necessity to have licensing logging
service enabled on Windows 2000 server at all?
Also, I upgraded a win2k domain controller to win2003. Licensing service is
still enabled. Should there be any issues or dependencies if I disable this
service on all servers?

thanks in advance.

Hello Simon.,

The license logging service can be disabled without any problem. It does
not work like expected either in 2000 or 2003.

Best regards
