Win2003R2 - copied exe files are blocked by default
I just installed Win2003R2 on a server. I copied a service pack from one
location on a different server to my new server and the only way I can install it is if I right-click on the exe, go to properties, and specifically click the "unblock" button. I realize that this is a new security feature, and it appears to be the default setting, but if I wanted, how is this feature turned off? After my server was configured, a screen came up about updating the server and such, and I thought I caught something about blocking ports, etc. I closed the window before really reading it thoroughly. Thanks! Sara |
