black screen
When I turn on my computer I get a cursor at upper left and a black screen.
When I used the control/alt/del button it booted and I was able to navigate. However, when I shut down and came back in I could not get rid of the black screen and was unable to go any further. Any suggestions.

(Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista)
